I am a Licensed (Independent) Clinical Social Worker in California, Washington, and Idaho, and have provided therapy and support for adults for the past 12 years. My experience includes working with individuals who have histories of trauma, emotional concerns of depression and anxiety, and those who are transitioning and adjusting to new life stages and circumstances. In addition, I have worked providing therapeutic support for people who provide support to others, such as caretakers and therapists.

My counseling style has been described as warm, affirming and genuine. I believe very strongly in treating others with respect and dignity, and in staying with the client’s needs and desires for counseling. My approach integrates Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy as well as assisting clients in understanding their own emotions, motivations and in determining their own choices and life path. Most importantly I believe that each of us has a unique personality and something of value to share.
